Every investor should read this paper by Zeckhauser. Since everyone invests sometimes everyone should read this paper.
tweetstorm this week about the music industry is indistinguishable from his fantastic blog post on bundling. https://t.co/KF8kjFoaGX I love a great blog post like Chris wrote, but people are writing fewer these days. Writing a book is even harder and less rewarding.
1/ How many great Michael Mauboussin essays have you read over the years? Too many to count? His contribution to financial literacy is IMMENSE. He is a hero of financial education. I read this book in galley format. If you don't plan read it, what the heck will you read?
I'm 18 minutes in to listening to this podcast and I felt compelled to take a short break and let you know that you should start listening soon. Gotta bounce back to the stream now though, since I don't want to delay listening to the rest of the podcast. Don't miss it.
Excellent thread from Josh. Watson won't make the transition to the metaverse since it is too busy playing Jeopardy. It will not disappear entirely, but instead will be suspended in time as a reminder to PR teams everywhere of what not to do (ie, anti-role model).
2/ If you want to read a paper on this that supplements what Mauboussin has been writing about intangibles read: https://t.co/IqnZwpiRNI The new Andreessen Interview on Invest with the Best I quoted last night is also in no small part about how intangibles are eating the world.
3/ If you haven't yet read Mauboussin's paper on intangibles, WTF have you been reading instead? https://t.co/F0kCnuxz50 Part of my luck in life has been the ability to talk to great minds. Second best is reading something that makes me think and learn. It makes me happy.
