What sets @SnowflakeDB apart from other DataBases?

3 Impressive features I like in Snowflake

/๐Ÿงต/
1/ Multi-cluster warehouses

This feature scales up the computer resources whenever computation needs peak

Snowflake automatically starts additional clusters (Computational power) whenever there is an increase in querying or concurrent users
And automatically scales down when the needs reduce

This is beneficial as the dynamic scaling up and down is highly cost-efficient
2/ Time travel

The time travel feature as you guessed it, allows you access to historic data

If you made an update on the database yesterday and want to access pre-update data today

You can mention the date in the query and access that data
3/ Cloning

Also called zero copying makes a direct copy of a Database or Schema or Table.

The cloned object is independent of the original object and is writeable

Usually, in other DataBases when copying an object, the structure needs to be defined, not the case in snowflake
That's a wrap!
