/🧵/
You need to pick a niche within Data Analytics that can make your transition easier

Every person has domain expertise and specific knowledge of a subject

Picking a niche will allow you to express your domain expertise

Reasons why you should do this 👇
1/ Communicate to the recruiter what’s your domain expertise

Having experience in certain domains can highly complement your data analytics career

Have you worked in the finance domain for a few years?

Accumulate projects in your data portfolio related to your domain
2/ Helps your transition to be more smooth

You are more likely to be hired if you have prior knowledge in a field

Recruiters are always looking for someone with a good business knowledge

If you have business knowledge of your field you are a more favorable candidate
3/ Familiarity can lead to interest

Learning something new is fun but daunting

It's sometimes hard to gather the motivation to get us started

Picking up a project something relevant to our interest can help in keeping hooked on the topic and concepts
When doing a challenging task, having prior knowledge can be a boost

Concentrate on how the application is executed

Try to concentrate on the learning aspect of data science or analytics
That's a wrap!
