Good thread against eco-alarmism. Climate change can be a moderately significant problem that deserves some attention, without having to be sold as the End of the World, aka Earth's Divine Retribution for the Grave Sins of Human Progress & Prosperity.

Just watched #DontLookUp. Excellent & important movie. Watch it. My radical take: it's not really an allegory about climate change or covid. It's really a movie about the legit, literal existential risks that we're ignoring by focusing too much on climate change & covid.

This is an excellent book by @paulbloomatyale on how people think and feel about moral issues, and you'd be fools not to buy it when it's on sale for $2.
