Best fantasy novel of the last decade, in my book. And one of the best of all time.

Salil, you should read his Use of Life, if you haven't already.

Read this in a fever dream through today, and will be thinking about it for a while to come. What an extraordinary novel. I normally find Booker novels hard going because of the *heaviness* of it all, but the touch here was like breath on glass.
