If you are a parent, I highly recommend "Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth" by @OliverJeffers. Definitely my favorite book for young children. A beautiful love letter to life on earth.
The best thing you will read this year. The Spoon Theory. It made me cry.
One of the best books I've read in 2021, highly recommended! Check as well Luca's other great books here:
A fantastic conversation between @hubermanlab and @AliaCrum on the power of mindset as a portal between conscious and subconscious processes. One of the best episodes of one of the best podcasts. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend "Shipping Business Unwrapped: Illusion, Bias and Fallacy in the Shipping Business" [link] It's a very interesting book even for those not interested in the shipping business. Economics 101, clearly explained.
The evolution of social media by @nxthompson. Great insights, highly recommended! Synthetic media (content generated or altered by artificial intelligence) is the future of social media. It will democratize media creation and creativity for everyone.
A good book on this topic:
As I messed up the screenshot in today's newsletter, I made the corrected version available to everyone. I highly recommend reading the "Reproducibility" excerpt by @DellAnnaLuca. Enjoy!
"A strategy should hurt. The trade-offs—where you invest time and resources, and where you don’t—should be painful and disappointing. [...] There’s no such thing as a strong strategy that prioritizes everything at once." Great book by @chughesjohnson
I discovered this fascinating story in @AMChevallier and @albrecht96's book "Solvable". Highly Recommended. 🔗
