Nir Shavit

Computer scientist and author of "The Art of Multiprocessor Programming". Winner of the 2004 Gödel Prize and the 2012 Dijkstra Prize for his contributions to theoretical computer science and software transactional memory. Past program chair of ACM Symposium on Principles of Distributed Computing (PODC) and ACM Symposium on Parallelism in Algorithms and Architectures (SPAA).
