Katie Olson is a storyteller. Katie studied Printmaking at Washington University in St. Louis with Carmiella. Katie has always made natureinspired artwork and films ranging from giant screen-printed installations of schools of fish to co-directing an animated short film about dancing Mexican bats. She was a story artist and animator on a short film about adventures in a forest with sheep made of clouds. Katie also studied at The Glasgow School of Art with Carmiella. While together in Scotland, they collaborated on a mural at the home of a sheep farmer on the Isle of Skye. Katie currently works for Bardel in Vancouver, Canada, as an animator for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Katie created the characters and compositions for this book.
