Jon Elster

Holder of a PhD in social science from École Normale Supérieure. Has taught at several universities including the University of Paris, University of Oslo, and University of Chicago. Currently holds the Robert K. Merton professorship of Social Science at Columbia University and is a professor of social science at the Collège de France.
