Highly recommend you watch the brilliant @femilonge with @PeterMcCormack and @_DannyKnowles. It might help expose you to the uncomfortable truth that the economic system that you rely on for your well-being depends on systematic exploitation of others.

Awesome post and I need to get back there for a visit. You could feel the hope and the early promise of something better when I was there last but looks like El Salvador has come a long way along that road.
