A classic but I can't recommend it enough: Man's Search for Meaning by Victor Frankl It's heartwrenching but really helps us all find meaning in our lives and find love and hope to endure the darkest experiences of this world.

By a mile the best: The Path to Power by Robert Caro, about Lyndon Johnson - start of a so far five book series. The series is totally amazing and I think often of what it reveals about how complex humans are. (I’m ‘reading’ it for the second time - ie, listening on Audible.)
