THE FLAT EARTH PSYOP - A THREAD

1. If a dad is ashamed that he needs a second job at McDonalds on the weekend, he might tell his kid a white lie about where he goes. In the future, that kid might realize something was odd, and wrongfully conclude his dad was cheating on his mom.
2. Similarly, there are shady deals happening in the world. So, whoever has the intuitive insight that that's the case is not wrong in that. But to jump to an outlandish conclusion will never be of help.
3. The Antarctic Treaty of 1959 is one of such cases. We are supposed to believe that ever thirsty conquering humans, who are even planning to throw nuclear bombs in Mars, decided NOT TO EXPLOIT the natural resources in Antarctica, a continent 40% larger than Europe?
4. So what's happening in Antarctica? Resources? Scientific secrets? Atlantis beneath the ice? A parallel society ruling the world from anonymity?

Who knows! That escapes the scope of this thread. But whatever it is, it's best hidden behind outlandish and misleading theories.

5. What used to be the most outlandish theory there was up until recently? Flat Earth, maybe?
Not anymore, though, thanks to algorithms pushing it for almost 20 years. (That friendly treatment by most platforms should be in itself suspicious.) But let's have an open mind …
6. Whenever we question part of TheNarrative© it is because it's full of holes. And we look for a better explanation that fits the evidence. In what way is Flat Earth helping to explain any phenomena better?
7. I have met many astrologers that were flat earthers. And yet, every method they used to calculate the night sky on any given moment was—unbeknownst to them—fully based on the model of a round Earth in a Solar System several thousand billion miles away from the closest star.
8. The "regular" scientific models help predict and explain tides, eclipses, the night skies, the weather, and several other phenomena that occurs on our planet. No holes in the models, no need to question anything.
9. Some argue that there are "holes", things that can't be explained by the round Earth concept. And yet they fail to be precise in their calculations. I have been open minded enough to go through these proofs a couple of times. Never did I encounter a valid argument.
10. On the other hand, the plethora of models proposed for a Flat Earth always fail to explain the most simple phenomena. It would take many twitter threads to go one by one.
11. Because of the huge scale of Earth compared to the human dimension of life, it's not possible to visually see Earth's curvature. Even on a plane you barely elevate yourself from the surface a 0.08% of Earth's diameter.
12. There are many more aspects of this "debate" that require deeper physics. But most importantly, check it with yourself. Everything in nature and around us is of cyclical nature. The roundness of Earth not only makes sense, it's the most beautiful way it could have ever been.
13. We point to completely different skies in both hemispheres. And when you start traveling southward, new constellations reveal themselves little by little. The cosmos is indeed a great guide. Just look up.
14. Sunsets over the ocean are my everyday experience. Once I saw one while talking on skype with a friend in Japan, only that for her it was a sunrise over the ocean. Cycles! (And the sun clearly sinks behind the ocean, never diminishing in size.)
15. This thread is not intended to confront anybody. It's merely to point out that Flat Earth is not "the great red pill" that unlocks all others, like some seem to think it is.
16. On the contrary, Flat Earth has all the markings of being a big PSYOP, one that has pushed many of those naturally inclined to question things to fall for a false premise. And once you hold these views, try convincing your obedient friend that there's a Global Coup going on.
17. There's strong evidence that some theories have been spread so that when the time comes to dissent on TheNarrative© for a good reason, there would be a public dismissal of the people questioning things. And even worse: so that policies like this👇one could have some support.

18. I am all for unity in the Freedom Movement. But it's time we focus on what's important and that we don't play into the hands of the powers that be. Flat Earth theory helps no one, and the timing for its revival has been too perfect for the suppressors of truth.

19. There's a dangerous aspect of being in on something big that no one else knows: a kind of addiction. Don't let that aspect blind you. Earth is a celestial body, and if you need to unfollow for that, that's ok. At least know that I listened to your arguments with an open mind.
