Cheat codes I know in my 30’s that I wish I knew in my 20’s:
1. An abundance of money is the lowest form of wealth. An abundance of health, love and free time are the highest forms of wealth.

2. Only get feedback from those who are playing the game. It’s too easy to boo from the sidelines.
3. Physical and financial fitness is not enough; you must also be surrounded by people who love you.

4. If you eliminate all distractions and vices, put your head down, and grind for 6 to 12 months and you can build incredible health and wealth.
5. Blue light-blocking glasses won't make or break your sleep. Wear them if you want, don’t wear them if you don’t want to.

6. Cardio is more about improving your overall health and longevity than it is about burning calories.
7. The body is an amazing machine, and few can outwork their body’s capabilities. Those afraid of “overtraining” are making an excuse to take it easy.

8. Dental Hygiene matters more than you think. Follow @BowTiedGatorDDS and listen to everything he says.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 9. Your sleep schedule controls your energy levels. Get enough sleep at the right times.

10. People show their true colors more than they tell them.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 11. You’ll never regret playing with your kids, even if you must stay up late to work after they go to bed.

12. Teach your kids the things you wish your dad had taught you.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 13. Don’t let people who complain into your inner circle.

14. Be slow to judge people; remember you’ve never spent a day in their shoes.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 15. Money solves some problems and amplifies others.

16. Stop mouth breathing. God gave you a nose for a reason.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 17. Health isn’t about macros. Health is about lifestyle.

18. Your kids may pick up your worst habits. Make your worst habits better than most people’s good habits.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 19. Someone who has “all the answers” isn’t trustworthy.

20. Your best ideas come when you’re not trying to come up with good ideas.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 21. Your memory sucks. Write down things you want to remember.

22. Eggs are nature's multivitamin. Eat them.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 23. Drink 32oz of water when you first wake up to flush your system.

24. Discipline will take you 100x further than motivation ever will.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 25. Never sacrifice your family for your job. Never.

26. If you just did what you know you should do, your life would be 10x better by now.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 27. Seek discomfort daily. You only grow when you’re uncomfortable.

28. Eating at least 50g of protein at breakfast makes it infinitely easier to hit your protein goal for the day.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 29. Find time to be still every day, even if it’s only 5 minutes. Give your mind and body a break.

30. Take complete ownership of every single thing in your life. You’re responsible even if you refuse to acknowledge it.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 31. Embrace the struggle. You can only get stronger when you face problems.

32. Don’t drink coffee 10hrs before going to bed. If you go to bed at 10p, stop drinking coffee at noon.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 33. People who gossip to you are not your friends. They’re definitely gossiping about you behind your back.

34. You can tell a lot about someone by how they treat service staff. Don’t ignore this.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 35. When lifting weights, make sure there is a mind-to-muscle connection.

36. Take time to feel your emotions. Feel them fully, then let them go.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 37. High-protein diets are best for reaching your ideal body composition.

38. Change your perception, change your reality.
@BowTiedGatorDDS 39. Surround yourself with people smarter, richer, fitter, and wiser than you.

40. Time is only running out. Start chasing your dreams today.
@BowTiedGatorDDS Summary:

Through life, you gain experience.

With that experience comes wisdom.

Make sure to pass that wisdom to the kids, don’t keep it to yourself.
