Thread
This thread - cellphone footage from Kherson and villages around, icl. Mykolaiv region on how people celebrate the liberation. How could anybody dare to abandon these people? #Kherson 1/14

/14 Watermelon 🍉 is the symbol of Kherson region famous for its agriculture

/14 Z-S-U (Armed Forces of Ukraine) people are changing, there is no electricity in town for the last days #Kherson

/14 One of the villages in the region. Watch the lady on the scooter. While reporting earlier we knew that people could be detained and killed for the Ukrainian flag, but they saved them! (Earlier we heard, digging in the ground)

/14 another village, people chant “The Red Viburnum Song” which became the anthem of the resilience after Feb 24

/14 Kherson square again, the National anthem and the word “Ukraine” on the cinema

/7 Snihurivka (Mykolaiv region) suffered a lot under the occupation. People run “ours, ours”,

/14 Novitiahynka. The flowers were grown not in vain. Exactly for the occasion “Yes, Ukrainians”

/14 This video has a bit of more tears “We we’re waiting, waiting, waiting… Finally”

/11 Borozanske village - 15km away from Kherson. I’d remind - people were not allowed to leave to the Ukrainian controlled territory since May, and before it was also dangerous

/14 raising the national flag in the village of “Happiness”.

/14 Snihurivka, Mykolaiv region. People are clapping and saying “Thank you!” Doesn’t matter how skillful Russian propaganda could be, we know what’s genuine gratitude and welcom - and this is it

/14 Stanislav, Kherson region. I personally add: these are not just villages for many these are the places where our friends parents and relatives were trapped.

/14 and finally even some night disco in Kherson. “Ukraine” - some chant, also “Putin d***” (seems to me”). Last time I was there a few years ago we watched an opera on the same square, hight time to return
