Thread
1/13 I want to expand a bit on the state of NFTs, for both beginners and people who are thinking about starting their NFT journey.

If you have friends who want to know more about the market or you liked the read, share and retweet ♥️

- What is a NFT -

I won't go in the technicalities, there's wikipedia you can refer to if you want to know what the acronym stands for. I'll try instead to explain what NFTs are for people who care about the space.

NFTs are art, and opportunity, communities, cool tech.
3/13 The idea of collecting something digital is certainly not new. On that aspect, NFTs can be easily compared to digital items in games.

Let me give you an example:
You can screenshot an NFTs and say "See? I have it too!", however I can also screenshot any game wearable.
4/13 Yeah, I can't really use it and it makes absolutely no sense to flex my WoW screenshot of a 100$ rare sword, however the same can be said for your screenshot of a NFTs, very much like game items, if it's taken out of context it's worth absolutely nothing and can't be used.

- NFTs are indeed dead -

This phrase goes around a lot, and I think it's SLIGHTLY incorrect, I'd say more "NFTs are undead", if we were in a zombie series, where there's a chance of turning the zombies back to their human form, that's what NFTs would be (see iZombie).
6/13 I believe 2021 was a great year for people who invested the right way, but a TERRIBLE year for NFTs in general.

The speed in which it grew and the ridiculous amount of money and speculation circulating attracted the absolutely worst people in the space.
7/13 The outcome was very obvious.
"you can only fool the greatest fool so many times".

- Mass Adoption -

I believe NFTs are absolutely NOT ready for mass adoption, and whoever tells you otherwise is out of their marbles.
8/13 It makes no sense to use blockchain technology for day to day tasks as of right now. It's not comparable to any other service that has had years to develop.

Does that mean we should all stop building on top of the blockchain?
9/13 HELL NO. That's exactly how we make sure it'll be ready for mass adoption. By building and continuing to improve what's been done by people before us.

- Should I invest -

We are not in 2021 anymore, the market is oversaturated and skeptical.
10/13 If you are looking for an insta 2 million return, you are in the wrong place, so NO, don't over invest unless you have some inside information lol.

However, if you, like me and many others, think there's a chance for this tech in the future, and you have few hundred-
11/13 -dollars you don't need right away, then i'd say jump on board, and CONNECT with people who bought what you decided to buy.

The community aspect of NFT is what makes it so entertaining and compelling. And if you don't know where to start, feel free to comment, i'll help!
12/13 Not sure if there's really a point to this thread, I just hope it reaches those people who have been hating on NFTs just because is a trend amongst their community, but don't really know what goes on underneath the surface and might actually change their mind.
13/13 If you read this far it means you either are bored out of your mind, you actually share my ideas and enjoyed the read or you are a NFT hater looking for any excuse to destroy me in the comments (lmao)

Either way, feel free to like/comment/retweet ♥️
