This is a very important thread. We know one of the earliest cases, who thinks he caught the virus on the same side of the Yangtze as the WIV, did not go to the market, and was only diagnosed because he used family connections to visit a different hospital. There may be more.

That Worobey et al test is essentially nonsense from a causality point of view. Nobody discusses that the market was a superspreader event. What matters is whether there are earlier cases, or some early cases not related to the market. twitter.com/
