A "pearl of wisdom" is a wise saying or piece of advice.

Here's some of the best I've encountered (in no order):
To sell is human

Name of a book by Dan Pink, but nothing happens w/o a sale. Learning to influence and convince others is an essential part of biz & life.

Bonus pts- introverts often make the best salespeople because they are better listeners.
If you want to do something extraordinary, don't do what others are

Seems obvious by definition, so many people emulate the masses & get avg results, which should be expected by definition.

The quest to extraordinary will bring on skeptics, might mean you're on the right path.
You're a culmination of who you spend most your time with

Great circle's will help the others to grow, stretch, and call them on their BS.

Amazing things happen when you surround yourself with the right group.
Do what you say you're going to do

Amazing how this one sentence can separate so many.

Professionally or personally if you do this and are reliable, you'll be ahead of the majority.
Grit beats talent

Helps to have both, but I've seen people "win" time & time again by having more grit and outworking someone who is more talented.

Having both can be a superpower.
Work like a lion

Some of the best I know work in spurts when they are feeling inspired. All hours of productivity aren't the same and the best capitalize on their "flow state."

After all, I'm writing a tweet thread right now.
Get comfortable being uncomfortable

Another super power.

Every entrepreneur or exec I know has gone through this process and to varying degrees accepting a state of discomfort.
Control your own destiny or someone else will

Eventually the buck stops with you & you need to take control of your own circumstances. "Doing nothing" is an active choice.
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten

Some of the most dangerous words in business are "we've always done it this way."

Every system is perfectly designed for the results it's getting.
It's lonely at the top

Mathematically if you're at an elite level, it means most others aren't.

If you do something spectacular, you're an outlier. Find others, build open and honest relationships with them as they can have relatable & unique issues.
Don't let perfection be the enemy of good enough

In the overwhelming majority of cases, being good enough 95%+ the way there works and the incremental resources don't warrant perfection.
Success is a journey, not a destination

Embrace the process and learn to live it and love it.

Helps bring purpose and meaning to your life understanding that it's a journey.
Being kind is free

Be kind to others and give them the benefit of the doubt. It's free... we're a societal species, and the goodwill you create from something you're in control of lasts lifetimes.
Do the right thing

Majority of the time this is crystal clear. It may not always be the easiest path, but that's exactly when choosing the right thing matters most.
Be long term greedy

Related to the above, but great things are built over the long term. Focus on the long term goals / end state and don't take shortcuts for the here and now.
Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world

Decisions
Relationships
Skills
Knowledge
Money
Health

Everything compounds. Make sure you're headed in the right direction.
Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop & look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Take time to enjoy the small (and large) things in life. Life is a one time journey so you better make the most of it.
Leverage magnifies outcomes

Whether dealing with finances or building a company/systems, the more fiscal or human capital leveraged, the more the outcome will be magnified.
