This was the best episode of the @tferriss show in years!!

@KenTremendous shares wisdom that will change your world.

⬇️ Here are five mental models I'm applying to my life ⬇️
1️⃣ Smaller ego = better outcomes.

Andy Samberg (@thelonelyisland) played the lead role in @nbcbrooklyn99 but he was notorious for cutting himself from scenes if they weren’t good.

When everyone cares less about themselves and more about making something good, greatness ensues.
2️⃣ Spot anomalies, find opportunities.

@KenTremendous had dozens of identical interviews.

Then he met Greg Daniels & became a writer for @theofficetv.

After 50 identical meetings, this one was special, interesting, weird, captivating—different—and an enormous opportunity.
3️⃣ Five things evolution.

If your house were on fire, what five things would you grab, if you could only save those five things?

Assume your family & pets are safe.

Make this list every year to see how your values and interests evolve.
4️⃣ Failure is a gift.

@KenTremendous sat with sweaty palms while they read his SNL script. Not a person was laughing.

Other times, his scripts were smashing successes.

When you know failure is as likely as success, your head never gets too big.
5️⃣ Apologize sooner.

We all have things we should apologize for. It always sucks, but now is the best time to do it.

Bonus points for examining why you’re in a situation requiring an apology & avoiding those actions in the future.

It will change your life.

Thank you @tferriss and @KenTremendous
