This is a great read. Our supply chain problem isn’t a “bottleneck” at the ports. It’s the systemic collapse of an over-levered, financialized transport industry. Ports, warehouses, containers, trucking, rails … it’s all connected and it’s all fucked up.

Very interesting piece on the relationship between truckers and ports. "There’s no guarantee of ANY wage and in many cases these drivers make far below minimum wage. In some cases they work 70 hour weeks and still end up owing money to their carrier."
