Mom: Sometimes I used to say to myself, what [your father did], leaving us, leaving you, wasn’t that bad, wasn’t his fault. But, it was. But it was his fault. It was bad. He hurt me. He hurt you… when I saw that look in your eye with him, I was worried he was gonna hurt us again. Wade: I know you and dad have a complicated relationship. That’s your relationship.
