The 1st and 2nd airdrops of the WRLD token were dropped to the NFT World holders based on the rarity of the NFT, and it ranged from close to 2 ETH in WRLD tokens that I remember. and the FP peaked at 20 ETH during the 2nd airdrop.

WRLD tokens were also one of the OG gamified tokens to be listed on central exchanges like Coinbase that wasn't APE / SAND / MANA / SLP

Many NFT projects turned to NFT Worlds as their metaverse play since it was cheaper than sandbox, and were infinite big! Also, considering there teleportation to other worlds too, and Sandbox could only build a small house on a single piece.

There was also the Grayboys (0.07 mint) and NFT Worlds Avatar drop.

The Gray boys reached up to 2 ETH at one point.

So, what happened?

Mojang Microsoft came 🔨

They banned and frowned upon any NFTs created by the engine
Even though the team initially obtained permission

In fact there are thousands of creators that make custom games but not on such a big scale or with blockchain tech

As a holder myself, I stopped following the developments after the bombshell dropped in July 2022.

I lost hope, but kept my world staked for those WRLD tokens 👑

However, @iamarkdev @Temptranquil didn’t lose hope. They pivoted HARD

With their huge treasury (I ballpark estimate 6000 ETH), they started to work on their own game engine without using any line of code from Minecraft. 👽

With iamarkdev on the forefront, they released MetaFab to help gamified apps to integrate blockchain

This will put bring NFT Worlds BACK!

Re-branding Re-name and letting web3 / web2 know they are back.

NFTs migrating to new contracts via airdrop-
No unstake necessary
Royalties will be enforced

If you don’t have enough liquid to get an almost 2 ETH NFT World, I would suggest getting a Grayboy or an NFT avatar as these can give you benefits and utilities in the games.

Also NFT Worlds is one of the NFTs that has risen since the Blur farming started, as I mentioned in a previous thread.

from 0.7 to almost 2 eth
