Your Twitter account is your best tool to get a job in Web3

But most people don’t post relevant content.

How can you use Twitter to help you work in Web3?

Here’s 7 steps to get your content noticed by Web3 founders who are hiring
Why should you listen to me: I'm Head of Research for a Web3 startup.

I've hired 10+ Web3 writers and interact with job seekers every week.

The first thing I do is look at your Twitter account.

Here's how to make your content stand out:
Step 1: Become an "expert" on your topic (DeFi, gaming, NFTs etc)

Research projects and start posting about them.

Why is this a good project?

Write a thread on it and tag the project.

Posting “GM” every day is not enough
Step 2: Know your audience

If you don’t know your audience your content will fall flat.

The best thread on NFTs won't do well if your audience only cares about fashion or cars.
Step 3: Nail your hook

Your hook needs to grab attention or it will be left in the content graveyard.

Short, concise sentences that evoke emotion

Ex: "NFT projects are dying. Here’s why"
Step 4: Just Write

Don't worry about grammar, just let the ideas flow.

Don't edit.
Step 5: Now you can edit

Editing and writing use two different parts of the brain.

Combining the two is your road to hell on earth.

Eliminate extra words you don't need.
Step 6: Incubate

Stop editing, put it aside and go do something enjoyable.

Let it incubate in your subconscious.

The more time to incubate the better.
Step 7: Final edit

One last read through to make sure everything is good.

You can also repeat steps 5 & 6 as many times as it takes.
TLDR: 7 Steps to Improving your Web3 content

1. Become an expert
2. Know your audience
3. Nail your hook
4. Just Write
5. Edit
6. Incubate
7. Final Edit
Now go write some killer Web3 content.
