The NFTs that stay afloat have value you can't measure with money

aka community value (even if it sounds corny)

Use this checklist to find those projects 👇

1. Whale Presence

When a whale buys into a project the community celebrates

Why?

i) Whales usually buy for the long term

ii) Social Proof: whales are seen as smart traders and more people will buy in or hold if they see someone "smart" owns the NFT.

2. Influencer Presence

You've heard it 1000 times: NFTs are fighting in the attention economy.

What NFTs do you see the most on Twitter?

The value of being in the "cool club" is why many of the bluechips have 5-6 figure floor prices

Or why Nakamigos ran to 0.9

3. Sub-communities

This is a sign that people are building on top of the existing IP

You don't put in this much work if you want to flip in a week

The more active micro-communities they have the better

4. Lore

Part of what makes a community strong is its shared stories

It can change history like the "I am my penguin" moment from 2021

Or a nice memory like the "worm" dance at NFT Paris

These individual events strengthen the connection between holders and their NFT

5. Art Commissions

This works just like sub-communities

Are holders spending money to:
• support artists
• build their personal brands
• strengthen the project's IP?

Then they're not trying to sell anytime soon.

If you're holding more in NFTs vs ETH the situation isn't great

The good news is these are some of the best times to buy

But:

Do you have enough conviction to buy new NFTs or add to your current bags?
