Jason Jacobs, host of the popular climate education podcast, My Climate Journey, spoke to how everyone can embark on learning more about climate science and innovation, regardless of their starting point. John Williams, wine maker and co-founder of Frog's Leap Winery, discussed what it means for a winery to produce sustainably and face climate change head-on. John studied fermentation sciences at Cornell University and enology and viticulture at UC Davis and quickly became an award winning winemaker. In 1994, he became the owner of Frog’s Leap Winery in Napa. Under his guidance, Frog’s Leap has evolved as a provocative model of a successful, sustainable family farm. He and his winery team have been widely recognized for their contributions to the organic farming movement, the promotion of alternative energy sources, and ongoing efforts to encourage sustainable business practices.
