Have you read the white paper I linked yet? This is also a great report. Mining's impact is not precisely known, because we lack data, and because the space is nascent, and maturing. (Compare the early days of solar.) Directionally, it is hopeful:

Fair summary of ESG FUD in the EU. Performance standards, written by hateful no-coiners, and then “nudges” based on that sure-to-be-misguided metric. Clock is ticking on our own efforts to reframe the narrative.
