If you're into harrowing tales of group survival in the brutal wilderness, I can highly recommend these two TV drama series: - '1883' (wagon train settlers on the Oregon Trail in 1883; IMDB 9.0/10) -'The Terror' (British Navy explorers in the Arctic in 1848; IMDB 7.9/10).

Architecture fans: I recommend the BBC series 'The world's most extraordinary homes' (2017-2018; available on Netflix). Gorgeous eye candy; bold designs; high costs; remote sites; dubious livability. Can make you grateful for nice, normal suburban houses where everything works
