will eventually grow up and get a real job. Until then, will keep making things up and writing them down.
Congratulations to @RubyWax. It's a remarkably good book, too!
The City Lights tribute is this evening. The book by @jasonmcbride68 is wonderful, by the way.
I lost my proof copy, half-read, found it again the day my finished copy arrived. The second half of the book is just as good as the first.
Also, I highly recommend Maria's book The Confidence Game. Terrific stuff. (Here's an Amazon link. Please buy it from your local independent bookshop if you have one.)
One of those odd experiences when the review of a book you loved is so far removed from the book you read as to make you worry about the reviewer. Mr Breakfast is a wonderful, thoughtful book about life and love and choices. This is a sorry, turgid review:
And it's read by the brilliant @hodgman
Exactly so! (Such a good book.)
Can I recommend @officialnhaynes's beautiful and moving new novel Stone Blind, then? All the Medusa you could ever need?
It's such a good, real and important book. Hard to overpraise.
Oh! THese are ARCs of MR BREAKFAST! Booksellers READ IT. It's an astonishing book. @JSCarroll is the best, and this is one of his best books.
And Franz Masereel and the others. Yes. There are some good books out there [link] is an excellent book on some of the books without words of the early 20th c.
Three SF books I love....
