I just discovered Erik Larson this year and read a few of his books, but this was my favorite. It’s an exciting story of the sinking of the Lusitania, which reads kind of like an action movie switching between the characters on the ship to the submarine crew who sinks them. And apparently does all this while sticking closely to the historical record.
