His Star Trek novel, "The Final Reflection," created Klingon fandom and changed the way the franchise approached its perennial bad guys. His *other* Star Trek novel, "How Much For Just the Planet," is a comedic masterpiece that mashes up Trek with Gilbert and Sullivan. 4/
