One of THE most underrated habits:

Walking.

Since January 1st I've walked 564 miles.

The results have been insane.

Here're 7 reasons why such a simple exercise will completely change your life:
Powerful Progress

Walking improves cognition, which covers how you:
•Read
•Think
•Write
•Reason
•Remember

In short, everything from learning to decision making. Which means…

Relationships. Health. Wealth.

All improve.
Boost Creativity

Trust me:

When you start walking, you stop writing at the computer.

Research shows a 60% boost in creative output.

People like @thedankoe, @dickiebush, and @morganhousel swear by long walks every day.

Success leaves clues.

@thedankoe @dickiebush @morganhousel Hack Your Happiness

Aside from exercise endorphins, success-based endorphins come from completing tasks.

But unlike exercise, walking is:
· Low impact
· Low friction (no driving to gym)

If you ever feel in a funk, stressed, or down – a 20-minute walk makes all the difference.
@thedankoe @dickiebush @morganhousel Less Tired, More Wired

The paradox of walking is the more you do it, the more energy you have.

Plus, it improves sleep, which means:
· Better mood
· More output
· More present
· More engaged

What would you do with more energy?
@thedankoe @dickiebush @morganhousel See the World

How much of your local area have you explored?

How far have you ventured in the countryside?

90% of society dreams of escaping by going on holiday, but you don't need to go far to see beauty.

Escape in nature instead.
@thedankoe @dickiebush @morganhousel Destroy Depression and Disease

Walking reduces depression rates by 30%.

And recently, it's been associated with increased production of Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor.

… A key protein for preventing diseases like Alzheimer's.
@thedankoe @dickiebush @morganhousel (Literally) Grow Your Brain

I spent 5 years destroying brain cells at college. Now, my girlfriend can't believe how much I remember.

Why?

Because regular walks increase the size of your hippocampus – which plays a critical role in memory.
@thedankoe @dickiebush @morganhousel Something as simple as walking 30 minutes a day will change your life.

This year, I'm walking 1000 miles to raise money for @brainspine

If you're happy to donate, I'm £225 from my target!

Cheers 🙏
