Always assume the numbers you see are manipulated. Don’t let the amount of followers, likes, or retweets, ever sway your opinion over a project or account.

Twitter works hard to amplify what they know will create engagement, which means you need to work 2x harder to find the best information. Every time you follow an account you like, put it in a list, and watch as 90% of the noise on your feed disappears.

PUMP & DUMP SCHEMES

We’ve seen teams lie about charity, gender, treasury spend, manipulate social and discord numbers, launder big sales and just about everything else to extract your money. Avoiding schemes takes being honest with what you know and avoiding what you don’t.

There are an infinite amount of bots, some good but most bad. I could list them all, but new ones will show up. What’s important is that the bot doesn’t matter, it’s how you protect yourself that matters. And with that..

Remember, Twitter is a tool for you to use. If you aren’t really careful about how you use it, you’ll quickly find that you’ll be used by it. Take breaks, have goals, stay safe, make lists, and share what you know to help others.
