The imperative wellness guide to living a more optimal life!

What I took away from Nate Dallas' book is that there wasn't anything new but it was that he took the time to collect all common sense knowledge, add a twist of factual science through trial and error that he personally experience himself.

For me literally as I kept reading, I was like, "WOW! If that isn't me!"

The book was EXTREMELY relatable if you are either an over-achiever, and/or someone whom experiences stress or anxieties.

I thought every chapter was smooth and nicely researched with his own personal examples where they all would lead to a, "Why". Nate chooses to provoke and challenge you throughout with questions but also shares answers too.

There is a lot of common sense action that you can easily implement today into your daily habits and routines.

The book was a very simple read as Nate's verbiage was easy to digest-- he has a great, amusing personality and it shows through his words.

This is a must recommend for me to you, as this is not your typical run-of-the-mill self help book.

What if you didn’t have to live through stress and tension every single day? What if success and happiness came hand in hand, and brought their peace? What if simple things lead to huge changes? Would you be ready to do them? If yes, this is your book.

You’re too good to feel this bad is a guide of practical, doable, achievable daily steps that can help you live what you know you want but don’t know how to live. It is an all-rounder with health, relationships, finance, mindset and so much more to live an unorthodox life because it is true what he says, you’re too good to feel this bad.

It is easy to read and well-structured. The sequence of the chapters helps you start working from the inside out. A healthy mix of entertainment and education will also make you chuckle a few times, avoiding boredom and helping you retain more information.

The best part is that it is written on the basis of the personal journey of the author who has lived through stress and anxiety on regular basis. As a hustler, he had to slow down and do everything written in his own life. This personal touch makes the book relatable and not just another guide.

I have had the same mindset as the author, I related to him very hard and this book pushed me to live a slower, more intentional life, which is why it will always be one of my favorite books ever.
It is a must-read and can be re-read from time to time.

Confidence is your general assessment of yourself — how you feel about your capacities and restrictions. At the point when you have solid confidence, you have a positive outlook on yourself and consider yourself to be meriting the admiration of others.

When confronting problems of life, a low confidence frequently comes into way. Writer Nate Dallas concocts his book 'you're too good to feel bad', to advocate this very issue. In this book, Nate Dallas shares his educational, individual experiences to get away from the social predicament of tension and ensnarement.

Towards its inception, the book acquaints readers with the fact that even the writer was once carrying on with a stage in his life when nothing in his life was going conventional and unerring. The book stands different in this very way. Without drawing references from others, the author uses his life as reference. He states how in any case, his temperament of investigating problems and overcoming backslashes pushed him to dive deep and fix himself.

The book discusses the 6 Buckets of human requirements. The author describes how every individual deed is somehow related to achieving one or more of these insights, including love and affection, certainty, variety and so forth.

Another vital component of this book is the Four degrees of love. The author here, proves his brilliantly done research and observation in the field of human emotions and behaviors. He disambiguates how love grows and evolves and how to approach the next step, with a focus on self-improvement and empowerment. He covers numerous elements of humanity both at a physiological and mental level.

The book is very captivating and gives you incredible bits of knowledge into the human body and psyche. I personally prescribe it to individuals looking everlastingly enduring growth. It comprises of thoughts, bits of knowledge, questions and useful guidance to turn into a more determined, more satisfied, better, and more grounded individual.

All the data introduced is supported by science. It permits you to introspect yourself by posing inquiries, making an arrangement for your own improvement, both truly and intellectually.

Though I must say, it isn't a book for every reader. If you plan on actually using the scriptures of the book in practical life, then maybe it can clear your paths to a better looking and expressive life. However, it might not infatuate the readers of typical self-help books. It demands to be applied religiously. Overall, it is an exceptionally useful and really accommodating book.

You are too good to feel this bad by Dr Nate Dallas

From tending to becoming a life instructor is not a journey a lot of us would have imagined ourselves to pursue. In an unnatural turn of events, having been suffering from numerous ailments Dr Nate finally went up to a Dr. to get himself checked up. The result of that colonoscopy is something that changed Dr Nate's Life. For good or bad, that is the personal question once you go through his book.

What do you think was Nate ailing from? was it a cancerous infestation, a malign tumour, an unknown disease or something entirely out of the world? Well, the ailment might not have been literally out of the world but the diagnosis sure is. Nate was surviving his fast-paced professional life on a strict overdose of stress and anxiety.

The title is very enlightening where the author talks about taking an orthodox approach to life when the world is evolving and stepping in the shoes of modernism. It might be difficult for us to part with our cell phones and bright android televisions, but their effects sure keep us awake when our body strives to sleep.

This book is a thoroughly researched journal which supplies medical answers to all know why's. From the melatonin secretion to the rupture of the circadian rhythm you get to know every reason behind your sleep deficient self. I would not say that reading this book will bring you all to peace, nevertheless, the arguments passed in here are surely not in folly. I connected to the chapter with sleep and its know-hows, as is the fact that I am more awake at night than in days. I certainly find all the symptoms of tiredness that the body wants to imbue for us to understand but being in the dead of habit I find my peace at night.

Along with that, I find myself in synchronicity with the authors thinking of developing a positive mindset. We definitely feel at home and in our comfort zone while doing what we have done always, but what if we made subtle changes to divert our mind to get on the right track again? maybe orthodox but certainly beneficial for our health. As for the smartphones and intoxicants which tend to bring us peace only make us suspend in a deep-rooted lie which only makes us believe the theory of well-being.
If not recuperative for all, sure is an interesting retrospection to make.

An astonishing read by Dr. Nate Dallas that covers all the necessary elements of our lives. The book reveals aspects like sleep, food and drink, meditation, mindset, money, relationships... And how in these areas of our lives anxiety and mental overload is induced due to clutter, stress, financial crunch, depressing moments, health issues.

To ease the anxiety, distress, discomfort, troubles in our lives; the author has suggested numerous ways and actionable steps to do away with these negative traits.
Overall it is an engaging and out-of-the-box read which truly transforms the reader from the inside out.

I got lost a little bit in the middle, but the second half of the book really held the magic for me. There are definitely many orthodox tips in there, but some were brought into focus in interesting ways to cause new contemplation. I found the minimalism chapter especially interesting, encouraging the reader to understand what human needs they are attempting to fill when they are buying and owning all of this “stuff”, that ultimately adds more stress and anxiety to their life. Fascinating food for thought. BRB while I intentionally clean out my closet asking myself “Do I need this? Do I love this? What would my life be like without it?”. I already know I will be ditching the majority of what is currently in there, causing clutter in my space and my life. Next up, my calendar and social obligations. And I CANNOT WAIT to lighten the load. My brain will appreciate the space.

A good book to pick up

This book is not very different from other self help books, and the author has narrated from his won experiences and has summarized the book into crisp chapters.

Consider this book as a gentle reminder to shake us up, to shake us from our mundane lives and tap into the potential that each one of us has and we need more books like these, except we also need our active participation in the tasks mentioned in the book too and that is only for us to act on.

I have to say that it's just a decent read, nothing great. While it does have a lot of basic details outlined in an enlightened way, there's also too much unnecessary theoretical explanation about certain topics that isn't needed. Personally, I found myself skimming through some of those parts just to get to the more practical advice.

That being said, I did appreciate how the book is written in a very personal and relatable tone. The author clearly understands what it's like to struggle with feeling bad and offers some helpful insights and strategies for dealing with those feelings.

Overall, while it's not a must-read, "You Are Too Good to Feel This Bad" could still be a useful resource for someone who's looking to improve their mental health and well-being.

It is said that precaution is better than the cure but we don't really take the necessary steps in order to avoid the future medical bills. We aren't conscious unless something goes wrong with our body and when something does, we are suddenly over conscious about everything. Isn't it?

You Are Too Good To Feel This Bad is a Non-Fiction that changed my habits unprecedentedly. I never knew that I would change my daily schedule and it will ultimately be called as a healthy routine that one should be following religiously. First and foremost, this book isn't for those who are just here for the reading purpose of it. This will be a great pick for people who are doers, those who instantly believe in taking actions. I loved this book because I took immediate actions that were necessary for me.

The author commences this book by telling about his health-related story briefly. He talks about that how super energetic he always feels that he never felt a need to sleep more. When he started feeling something weird about his physical as well as mental health, he immediately got plenty of tests done and found nothing out of place. What could be the reason then?

Nate in his book shares so many of his secrets that are scientifically proven and logical. The book doesn't fill your mind with impossible actions, rather it is on point with no-nonsense key points. The author doesn't want to waste anyone's time who is reading his book by writing things that aren't important.

The content of this book is simple and precise. You will find the importance of water ( you already know it but still, you don't drink enough water, ah? ), ways of breathing, food that you should and shouldn't consume, exercise, mental fitness, sleep ( who doesn't want a proper quality sleep ? ) and many more factors that play a major role in giving you a healthy body and mind. How you treat your body will determine the response you get from it.

The book appealed to me since the beginning for reasons I still fail to comprehend. Maybe the author has a captivating knack of writing stuff or maybe because of his transparency while writing it. Whatever the case may be, I took this book seriously and increased my sleeping hours from 6 to 8 hours, made a habit of drinking water, removed caffeine from my routine totally, and did many more minor things that give major results. I am highly impressed with this book and I recommend it to everyone. Everything is brilliant in this book and this is a kind of Non-fiction that wouldn't bore you. See, what I did there. So, go read it.

Let's get straight into this book. Introducing this improvement power content to all the lovely readers, who are just lacking the right mindset and feeling a little worried for millions of reasons. Don't worry mates, this book got your back.

It's not promising to take you out right away from the situations facing or being into. It's a gradual process of learning and implementation of plenty of good habits you can pick through the book. Have patience and it's going to pay.

The best part I have experienced during this reading is to know self-worth and raise your standards. I am super lucky to have this book because the current pandemic situation is deliberately causing not only physical damage, but it is a mind fatigue, depressive atmosphere out there. Choosing Dr. Nate's book can be a game changer in terms of the standards it is following to guide you through a variety of methods in addition to the right mentoring and positive mindset.

Stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia. These are very familiar terms, and can ruin your entire productivity. They can be asymptomatic a few times, but can be outgrown with the help of practice & repetition of methods enlisted inside this genre.

This book helped me perceive millions of reasons not to be taken for granted and I much appreciated reading the very straight forward lines, and this is what makes it stand apart from other books. I sense a potential narration with scientific explanation. It's not an ordinary motivation. It is for those who have been through failure, success, but stuck in a false sense of happiness and health. Basically, you can get billions of data related to achieving success, coping up with failure, but the book gives you an insight of post success conditions that the achievers come across.

Now is the time to explore new strategies and acquire habits that can help you in living a healthy life.

This book turned out to be an inspiring, motivational and positive read for me. The title itself gave me some positive vibes.
As we say, sometimes name is enough to attract you and the title of this book is a perfect example of that. Initially, I thought that this is just a guidance book regarding self transformation, but after finishing this book, I must say that its much more than that, its an answer to every question that comes to our mind when we try to analyse our lives.

This book is filled with brilliantly curated and implementable strategies for living a healthier and more focused life. The questions in the book help you to analyse your life and to thoughtfully consider what corrections/changes you need for a healthier, wealthier and simpler life. I believe, "The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change his future by merely changing his attitude".

This is really a great self help book and you will learn a lot from this book. This book is not just to read but also about taking action, as per the tools and techniques shared in this book. If we start using these tools and techniques in our lives, we can optimize our lives and grow daily. It also help us understand and identify the key areas that we need to focus on. I have read this book a week ago and till then I was trying to implement the techniques described in this book and I am happy to share that I have realised some changes in my life, my attitude, my growth and development.

A powerful, inspirational & thought provoking self help book that should be read by everyone. I really found this book helpful and I would recommend this book to everyone.

His intention seems very valuable to me, honest in sharing his experience and with ideas or practical advice, but at the same time he has the bias and reasoning of a man with some of his prejudices; so, in some ideas I found it between black and white without appreciating the gray scale.

Started off really great. Some very useful pointers in the beginning regarding sleep, breathing, and mental state of mind. The 3 stars are for just that.
After that it just became very bloated with a lot of unnecessary writing to drive home the single central point of the chapter.

You’d be better off stopping reading the book at 50%.

“The strength of a person’s spirit would then be measured by how much ‘truth’ he could tolerate, or more precisely, to what extent he needs to have it diluted, disguised, sweetened, muted, falsified.” - Friedrich Nietzsche

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 :

🤗 This book is a manual about health, wellness, stress, anxiety & love. And to tell you the truth this book is not for everyone. It’s for those people who sincerely hunger growth and don’t require extra motivation every day to do demanding work.

This book talks about the importance of doing simple things right such as:

1. Sleeping
2. Breathing
3. Staying hydrated
4. Keeping your body active.
5. The mind and the body connection
6. The importance of meditation, minimalism, and money.
7. Human needs and Love.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤:

It talks about the 6 Buckets of human needs and every behavior that we engage in is in some way an effort to meet one, if not several, of these needs.

Need 1: Certainty
Need 2: Variety
Need 3: Significance
Need 4: Love and Connection
Need 5: Growth
Need 6: Contribution

The 2nd key feature of this book is the Four levels of love mentioned.

Level 1: It may not be love at all because at this level we participate only if it benefits us.

Level 2: At this level, we are in a give and take the relationship

Level 3: It’s a level on which the focus is totally on the other person.

Level 4: The highest level of love where we not only love those closest to us mimicking level 3 but we begin to love everyone around us the same way.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:

🧠 It covers multiple dimensions of human beings both at a physiological and psychological level. The book is surprisingly Very engaging and gives you great insights into the human body and mind. I highly recommend it to people looking forever-lasting growth.

“What does your anxiety do? It does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, but it empties today of its strength. It does not make you escape the evil; it makes you unfit to cope with it if it comes”. The line shares a good amount of similarity with the overall context of the book at hand which basically deals with the importance of health and delineates all its aspects. Delving further, the author takes into account the plight of the 21st century man who is laden with lack of total fulfillment but is replete with exhaustiveness and anxiety and how these make you a part of the crowd and not apart from the crowd. It must be noted that the striking aspect of the book comes in the form of its comprehensiveness which it tends to offer as the overall structure of the book comes in the form of Physiology, Psychology and its application on life thereby laying down the mental aspect, the physical aspect etc. As we progress further, the greater stress has been put on a consistent approach for that would give out the required result to the individual to shape up a better version of himself/ herself.

It must be noted that this book must not be confused with a general Self Help book as the one at hand presents everything that is backed by a causal relationship and has been experimented with by the author. In addition to the same the current paradigm really demands a book that lays down all the relevant ways in such a poignant fashion. All these in totality makes this book a must read for everyone.

The book's title is what attracted me to read it. And I did not realise this until last month that I had this book in my kindle library for a long time. So yes, the book's title might resonate with a lot of people and it should be the sole purpose to pick this one up, because yes, you're too good to feel this bad.

It's mind-boggling to know what stress and anxiety can do to our bodies, apart from what they do to our brain. The book's purpose is to empower us with information about it and to inculcate lifestyle changes to improve the quality of life. This book is a concise and improved version of several other self-help books.

I usually do not take that long to read an interesting book but the author himself suggests to take one step at a time and read this book slow so I followed. One short tip- relax and enjoy the process.

The book talks about the basic things that we always ignore because we are often too occupied to take out a little time to think about ourselves. Often it feels like reading a lot of facts and figures but when it comes to the Methods section of each chapter, it takes the flow and becomes necessary reading. A few tips to ponder over are relaxation, improving sleep, eating and drinking habits, minimalism, managing tech consumption and the money.

It's a book to read, re-read and to recommend. And if the title isn't attractive enough to grab hold your attention and create an urge to pick this book, just take a look at the contents/index of this book and I'm sure that will change your mind.

Step up. Clean up. Grow up.

⭐️REVIEW: You're Too Good to Feel This Bad by Nate Dallas

🧐 Most self-help books are vague, unscientific, and repetitive. They often don't clearly define actionable steps to improve our lives. This one, however, is surprisingly different from most self-help books.

📌 Nate Dallas offers an orthodox approach to living an unorthodox life in this book. His goal is to make us live our best possible life. He shares all the tips, lessons, and "tricks" he learned by being curious, productive, and above all, desiring to improve his condition.

The book covers these areas:

🔶Sleep;
🔷Food;
🔶Breathing;
🔷Exercise;
🔶The Mind/Body Connection;
🔷Mindset;
🔶Human Needs;
🔷Leadership;
🔶Meditation;
🔷Minimalism;
🔶Work;
🔷Money;
🔶Relationships.

For each chapter, he shares the best tips and actionable steps you can implement to live an extraordinary and beautiful life.

🤔 My thoughts on this book

📌 The book was detailed enough but concise and straightforward. I expect this from a book that sets out to solve the practical problems of life. I wasn't disappointed by how it presented ideas and defined practical actions for the reader.

✍️ I'm already implementing some of its teachings, especially on food, sleep, and mindset.

Why should you read it❓

📌 If you think your life is going down the wrong path, this book has solid tips on how to get back on track and feel better. Also, if you are serious about expressing your greatest potential, you'll benefit from this book. And it's also perfect for those who have not read many books since it's accessible.
