I found this book intrigueing & thought provoking, it tended to make you the reader think if this really did happen or could it really be accompliced & with David Mansons background I might to agree.
The detail & planning that went into this Adventuere (If you like to call it that) book was just amazing, it kept me hooked from start to finish, I also have read this book approx 6 times now & will definitly add this to my collection ( had a copy many years ago lendt it out didnt see it again )
Once again this is highly reccomended reading

This book captured my attention from the beginning. I've always been a bigtime reader and will read almost anything so when I picked up this book brand new for $1 I wasn't expecting much. WRONG One of my favorite all time reads. What a great plot, slowly building into the explosive and brilliant ending! Can't wait to read another of his books... (my husband was thoroughly impressed with my new found knowledge of guns!)

An interesting and plausible plot. The author writes with authority, and tells an exciting story. The technical details of a Clancy novel and the twists of a Forsyth spy thriller. I hope Mason writes more.

Great, but not Excellent

Mason's work in Shadow is an excellent beginning to an author that possesses such a deep understanding of military manuvers, lingo, etc. The details are what captured me in this book, particularly the story of the team's sniper. I felt a little lost towards the middle of the book, but I suppose most book are that way. Overall, he is NO Clancy, however, his next book is still something I would like to take a look at.
