The reader starts learning about garbage and could almost despair on how terrible trash is. That is until they continue to read. The child learns about the different methods garbage is recycled. I found this book to be both interesting and informative.

good but dated bc many of the sorting now done by machines (i.e. magnets, fans, vacuums, etc.)

I learned things from this book. My three year old keeps asking to read this one. He’s fascinated by all the facts. It’s long and detailed and he loves it.

Environmentally friendly book. Tells about where trash comes from and where trash goes after the dump truck picks it up. It also speaks on recycling and the importance of it. Tells how different materials are recycled, like metal, glass, plastic, and paper. There is also a glossary and recommended websites to visit, which is a big plus.
