I received this book as a gift after having read Professor Chevallier's previous book. In this book, Chevallier and his colleague Professor Enders provide a clear, step-by-step process for helping people define their problems, expansively explore possible solutions, and then choose the best option among the choices identified. For me, the most valuable aspects came in the form of the rubrics and guidance provided for how to best develop and prioritize criteria for evaluating possible solutions, to help clarify which course of action will best solve the problem. Invaluable for everyone who has complex problems to solve at work (and in life!).
