Mid 2021 joined Salesborgs discord channel where I got wind of Tech-Powered Sales written by @Justin Michael.
I preordered it and got early access.

I could not even predict what happened next: the book basically blew my mind. I literally had an identity crisis. I seriously (so not kidding) considered quitting the world of sales b/c of how little I thought I knew - after reading it.

So, I picked myself up and decided to learn as much as possible about this whole “new” world of sales tech.

Guys, this is the BEST sales book of the last few years I have read - and it’s not even close.

This is the bible for RevOps. If you are in RevOps and haven’t read it - you are missing out on the entire world.

Go get it right now, if you haven’t already.

This sales book is packed with the future of sales, the current sales landscape and the tips and tricks of what is working today and what will work in the future.
I know because I am using some of the tools at work today.

It is an ideal read for SDR/AEs and Sales Leaders today to envision what is possible in the future and also identify the current gaps within their current organization.

Book is lengthy and will be great to distil down some of the key concepts.
Still a 5 stars for being revolutionary.

This book is pure gold, like Predictable Revenue for the 2020s. If you're looking for a book to read that sets you up for 2022, this is it.

Tech-Powered Sales takes Combo Prospecting (by Tony Hughes) and puts it on steroids. Covering both the high-level concepts AND the 'nitty gritty' of putting together a GTM-strategy that delivers results.

Key Learnings:
💎 Salesborg Theory: Tech is ever increasing but it cannot replace human interaction. Instead of fighting against it, work with it. Use tech to augment interactions and leverage the possibilities to spend more time on real value-driving interactions.
💎 Salesborg Action: Invest in a good tech-stack and quality data. Spend time honing in your ICP, Personas, and the triggers that are relevant for your business. Work your systems and automize everything that is repetitive (check out Zapier, use templates, snippets). Stay organized and effective with the help of sequences but NEVER make the client feel like they are in a sequence. *Tech itself is not going to solve your problems but done right it will allow you to reach new heights*
💎 Future of Sales: Sales tech will be augmented in systems, where end-users do not even need to know the tech stack – they'll just deliver results with the help of it. The importance of TQ (Technology Quotient) and empathy will be exponential to delivering real-time h2h interactions at scale.

Listened 3x through the whole book since some of the concepts are quite novel and need to be processed. Even though the book is focused on the mid-market play (in larger corps), where sales efficiency is everything, I've found tremendous value from implementing parts to working with large enterprise accounts.

If there's one practical book for TOFU you'll need, this is it - then look at Combo Prospecting and Fanatical Prospecting (Jeb Blount)

Got to know of this jewel from the Salesborg discord channel. This has taught me so much about the technology available to sellers today. It is actually a superpower!

This book is an eye opener for experienced sellers as well as folks who are starting sales. It is packed with so much information, that after reading a few pages, I had to stop highlighting - to avoid highlighting every other paragraph of every page!

I would (and have) recommend this book to everyone who is associated will selling and is curious about the tools that will be used (and are being used) by seller to multiple their sales funnel/closures.

Standing on the shoulder of giants

Geared with strategies and transparent tactics for your revenue generation. The book contains a lot more than you need and I've always found a lot more every time I read the book, if you need deep dives you'll definitely want to talk to the guy himself. Bridging the gap between sales principles and technology. If you've loved this book, you'll definitely love the community.

A comprehensive look at sales for large corporations. Will be of benefit to mainly corporate decision makers but field sales executives in large firms will not only gain some understanding but also extract some techniques useful for a changing sales environment due to the inclusion of new global technologies.

I learned a lot about the tools and possibilities for technology use in sales now and for the future. I do think it somewhat farfetched based on little backing around the topics of artificial intelligence, but still good conversation about how AI will change sales

Great read for revenue generation professionals

Revenue generation has been (and still is) an immensely labor intensive activity in all B2B companies. Marketing automation and CRM solutions have been promising productivity improvements for more than twenty years now, but little has happened. In many companies revenue generation is a black box. We’re delighted when it works and sad when it doesn’t. However we have a hard time telling the reasons for the difference.
Those days are over and this book explains why that is the case and what will happen.
I agree with the perspective presented but I am not so sure that it will happen so fast. Still, those that embrace the technology available will outperform their competitors and that may move the needle.
I am little more skeptical on how it should be implemented and organized. I am not sure revenue generation professionals can be trained to become technical whiz kids.
I highly recommend the book to anyone working with revenue generation.
