She’s not “Cancelled”
Apr 24
I think it’s funny how in any other situation, if a person is being cancelled, so is their art/work (see R Kelly, Dave Chapelle, etc). But in this case they’re certainly not giving up their Harry Potter books & movies! Because they and she are brilliant!
Lack of facts.

On twitter JK blatantly denies the holocaust targeted trans people, when proven wrong, she doubles down. She also friends people who advocate for violence against trans people. None of this is touched on this podcast, yet we are played several clips of the most extreme protestors that paints and unfair and uneven picture of why people have a problem with JK.
Fantastic and compelling listen!

I’ve never written a review before, but felt compelled to do so after finishing this podcast. It is so well done. The information included is all well thought out and provides compelling conversation of all sides of the subject. I appreciate the creator telling this story and not infusing their own beliefs in a matter to sway the listener, but rather to present everything in a clear and well thought out manner and allow the listener to properly ponder all views. I left this podcast with great triggers for critical thinking on a complex and evolving topic. Well done!

I admire the courage of everyone involved in this project. If we could all have challenging conversations with this level of dignity and respect the world would be a better place.

The most honest podcast I’ve heard addressing this complicated situation. Hope there are many more seasons presenting more topics and debates. I also hope there are periodic updates to this particular topic.

A beautiful, deep conversation about a very controversial subject. Thank you for doing the right thing on a path of exploring, understanding & accepting. Loved this series.
HOW WRONG THEY WERE
Mar 16
This podcast goes to show how wrong these groups(far right groups) were about the books of J.K. Rowling. The sad and true thing is; most of the people against the books had NEVER read the books! An excellent podcast to listen to.
Thank you
