Definitely one of the most insane philosophers. I mean he genuinely believed it was a possibility an evil demon was controlling him. He does have some points how well they hold up I’m not so sure.

Descartes doubt was foundational for so much of philosophy following his work. Even though I struggle to agree with his arguments for God, his logic following the existence of God is very well laid out.

Just really wish he’d been born later and knew more maths so I actually know what he’s trying to say.
