I'm late, but I finally got around to finishing Generations. It's excellent: exceptionally data-rich and comprehensive.

An excellent new book from @danielgross and @tylercowen on how to hire great people: [link] Between them, they've seen how undergrad & grad programs, academic departments, YC, startups, Apple, and Pioneer do talent selection. Run, don't walk!
