Great thread Brian! When the odds seem to be in your favor, bet heavy. This is a systematic way to do that. (Although, the phrase “protected value” may be a bit misleading. It’s not like the portfolio can’t drop below this value.)

Great thread, Q! I also recommend this excellent ~1.5 hour video where Terry Smith describes his 3-step investment process: Step 1: Find wonderful businesses, Step 2: Buy them at reasonable prices, and Step 3: Do nothing.

Outstanding thread and example! As investors, “knowing thyself” is so valuable. If we know ourselves well, we can choose an approach that works FOR US. A style of investing that we can stick to — and reap the benefits of compounding from — for decades.

Great thread, Q! I very much like Chris Mayer’s book “100 Baggers” that covers some of these points in more detail. Link: [link] (h/t @chriswmayer)

🧵 It's every investor's dream to make a 10-bagger (a stock that goes up tenfold), or even a 100-bagger (a stock that goes up 100x). In this thread we will learn you how to identify multibaggers together with 104 (!) concrete examples. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ twit

It takes courage to publicly own up to one’s mistakes. Great thread and great lessons Brian! Thanks for being so open and honest. Hopefully the rest of us can learn from your experiences without having to make these mistakes ourselves.

Very nice thread. Thanks for taking the time to explain these terms precisely — and for illustrating the core concepts by putting numbers to them.

This is a superb thread — about an under-discussed investing topic. A key principle in investing: we should NOT turn *short term* volatility into *long term* risk (eg, via margin loans). And failing to properly account/budget for taxes is exactly one such mistake. 👇👇👇
